News about A Wife’s Phone 0.6.5 Revamp
It’s been a while since I last shared any updates about the next release and the progress on the update. Well, it’s time to do so.
First of all, I’d like to say that the release date currently listed on the website is not final. I’m doing everything I can to have something ready by that day, but I’m not yet sure if I’ll manage to meet the deadline. Since most of the work involves reworking the game’s entire core, interface, and the functioning of all apps, a lot of time is being spent on coding. At the moment, very few dialogues have been written. That, you could say, is the bad news.
The good news — the game is going to be much, much better. And when I say “much,” I mean a lot. Now, every app will look like it actually belongs on your smartphone. There will be no more empty buttons, clunky interfaces, or mismatched button and text colors. With the next update, the game will be simply incredible. But why just talk about it? Let me show you what’s already been done.
So, what do you think? Pretty cool, right?
Now, photos and videos sent during chats will be visible. The gallery looks more organized, with no stretching issues, and it loads faster than before. I’ve already shown you the new Instagram interface, but just to recap: Instagram will now feature video posts, and you’ll be able to enable notifications for new posts, follow those you find interesting, and unfollow those you don’t. In the bank app, you’ll be able to open deposits, take out loans, transfer funds between accounts, and, of course, send money to Mr. Salim. The real estate app has also gotten a major facelift. You’ll be able to buy and sell properties as before, but now you can also rent them out and earn passive income. Oh, and yes—now you can watch adult content directly in the browser (yes, all the videos there can be played and watched).
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!
Days will change automatically if there are no new messages. You won’t need to press the day/night app to progress through the story anymore (it’s still shown in the screenshot because the main screen interface isn’t fully finished yet).
And that’s not all I have planned. Though, most likely, I won’t be able to finish all the apps for the next update, and some will remain for future releases. But I’ll do my best to complete the most important ones.
I’m sure that once the update is released, you’ll forgive me for the smaller amount of content. Believe me, it will be worth it, and the gameplay in the new version will be something you’ve never experienced before.

It looks good but what about the release date?? According to last post it was supposed to have been released by now.
I’m so excited to see this new version of the game. I’m pretty sure that will be a great improvement. For me, it wouldn’t be a problem if you released the update only with the new engine/interfaces w/o the new dialogs, just for us to check the “new game” (I, for example, will play the whole game again) while you work on the new dialogs. But anyway you decide to do it, I’ll be here to play 🙂

that’s great work and looks really good.
I’m looking forward to continuing with the game.
It’s a shame it doesn’t work retroactively, as I’ll probably start over with the alpha branch.
I do have one request though. Unfortunately, I often lost track of the different branches and options while playing.
It would be really helpful if there were a hint at the most important forks in the road as to which direction one decision or another would lead and what options would result from that.
If there’s already a good summary of the possible branches somewhere, a link to it would be great.
In the future, we will work on reworking the old version to fit the new interface. It won’t be too difficult, but it will take some time to change how images behave inside chats. However, I believe we’ll do this eventually, so the previous versions will have the new interface and new mechanics for progressing through the story (without the constant need to press the time-skip button).
We mainly decided to create a new build without including the old content because the game had become too large. We figured that creating a new build was a reasonable decision given the current situation.

The new part of the game will be in a new build, and the old content will not be included. It’s possible that in the future we’ll rework the beginning of the game to fit the new interface, but we haven’t thought about that yet. Changing the phone’s wallpaper will be available, and you’ll be able to select any image from the gallery as your wallpaper.
does it mean we’ll have an option to select our choices? like if we choose alpha or cuck route etc..?
