A Wife’s Phone 0.6.5 Revamp release date
Well, I have two pieces of news for you: one bad and one good.
I’ll start with the bad one: I’m forced to delay the timer again because I’m not making the deadline. I had to spend some extra time working on the remaining apps, as well as adding the ability to set any image from the gallery as wallpaper on the phone. This took me longer than expected, so I won’t be able to release the update today.
The good news: the A Wife’s Phone release is happening before February 20, and the game will be available to everyone right away. I’ll set the timer for February 20, but that will be the absolute latest date. There’s just a little bit left to finish before the update is ready. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release it even earlier.
What else has been added to the game?
- Messages in M&F.
- Messages in OF.
- The ability to set wallpapers on the phone.
- The time-skip button now skips directly to the next active dialogue in the game.
- In the future, almost all profiles in M&F will have their own small and large paths, so your likes and dislikes in the app will have consequences.
- As I showed earlier, housing can now not only be purchased but also rented out for income.
- Photos and videos in the gallery will be separated into different tabs. The gallery itself will no longer lag like it did before.
And plenty of other small improvements. I think when you see the updated version, you’ll understand just how much work went into all of this.

What’s next?
Two weeks after the release, A Wife’s Phone 0.6.5 Revamp will be released with new content. I want to clarify right away that there will be less content than usual, as the Bloody Ink team can no longer work at the same pace as before due to a 5-7x decrease in financial support.
In the future, if the upcoming releases restore your support, we will be able to return to our previous development speed.

Just wanna say – totally get it that sometimes delays happen. Blaming author for that doesn’t make any sense. I mean, probably frustration is understandable if you’re supporting the author financially. At least this gives you the debatable right to request updates from author, just to be sure you still have a chance to get the game you decided to support.
However, I wish author could be less impulsive with words and decisions. Delays are 100% fine as long as there’s enough transparency about what happens next. Just let your fans know it’s gonna take extra few weeks, and everyone can get back to their stuff. On the other hand, telling everyone to fuck off because “it’s done when it’s done” is an easy way to make sure fans who check in for updates regularly will get frustrated every time they see no updates and will have zero expectations on future releases of the game
In other words, it’s better to allow as much delays as needed, but be transparent about them, rather than leave the audience in the dark about actual situation.

I agree. I hope the people who give the author shit are actually giving him money. Shit happens in life. IMO it’s ok to have delays, it sucks, and I’m sure BI feels the same, but that’s life. Just keep in touch, most people (there ae 401 subscribers on Boasty and how many have complained in a shit way? Maybe I can’t see all the complaints but a small fraction it looks like.)
We love your game. We support you, even if we maybe can’t pay every month. Just keep in touch is all we ask.
For the people who try to guilt trip the guy if the game isn’t out, I would say just chill out, go do something else. How long has this game been going? Honestly, I play lots of games of this type and BI is one of the best for frequency and amount of content he releases. I know it’s frustrating, but be an adult, find something else to do with ur time until it comes out or if it’s too much find another game. U know u will be back! ;p And if BI ups the communication just a little more, everyone will be less stressed!
This is a great game and there are so many routes you can try out, let’s goooooooo!! Still hyped for everything coming!

There will be no new release date. When the game is released, you will receive a notification if you are subscribed to the newsletter.
Truly sad… It’s 3rd or 4th time you don’t respect your own words. Give us some solid news and don’t make promises you can’t keep, please.
I understand your disappointment, but unfortunately, things in life don’t always go as planned. To avoid such situations in the future, I will no longer announce release dates until the update is fully ready.
