I think it’s time to say a few words about the upcoming update.

As you may have noticed, I have restarted the timer several times, moving the release date forward. What’s the reason for this? Work instability.

Right now, I can’t dedicate all my time to the game as I used to. Recently, my main job has been overwhelming, requiring extra time. I’ll skip the details and won’t complain about things that don’t interest you. I’ll just say that this affects the amount of time I can devote to the game, which is why I haven’t been able to release everything on time.

The good news:

I’m very close to finishing. Really close. I have just a little more to do, and I’ll complete the UI and game mechanics update. And not only that—I will also finish transferring part of the content from the previous version to the new engine. Overall, I think about 30-40% of everything from the old A Wife’s Phone will be transferred. Of course, I’ll be transferring the endings of the branches so you can remember how everything ended in previous updates before diving into the new content.

Reminder:

This update will not contain new content. It will only include the core update of the game, as well as all mechanics, including the story progression system. You won’t need to press the time-skip icon anymore—it will happen automatically. I think that’s a great improvement. All apps will become more convenient, as well as the notifications you receive from them.

A lot of work has been done, and when the game is released, you’ll see it for yourself.

And yes, this update will be free for everyone.

That’s because there’s no new content, and I don’t want to charge for just updating the game’s core. Even though it took a lot of time, I don’t consider it something people should pay for.

Two weeks after this update is released, there will be an update with new content. I’ll announce what exactly will be included later. For now, I can confirm that the Wife and Jenna branches, Fem MC, and Alpha MC (without adding the wife to the app) will be updated.

I really hope I can finish everything this week. I can’t wait to bring you the new version of the game and hear your feedback!
